Our story

Dressing brides since 1995

Aainaa began in Jackson Heights, Queens. Three decades later, we design and make our own bridal wear on Long Island, for brides, grooms and everyone celebrating with them.

    We opened at 101 South Broadway in Hicksville and supplied bridal wear wholesale.

  3. 2011

    Our own manufacturing

    We set up our own production and began creating our own designs, colours and custom bridal pieces.

Almost anything can be customised. There are no limits on what we can make for you.

How it works

From first sketch to final fitting

  1. Consultation

    Visit our Hicksville boutique, or book a video consultation, and tell us about your events, colours and the look you have in mind.

  2. Design

    Together we choose the silhouette, fabric and embroidery, for you, your partner and your family.

  3. Measurements

    We take your measurements in store so every piece is made for you, not adjusted from a stock size.

  4. Handmade in India

    Your outfit is embroidered and stitched by our artisans in India.

  5. Fitting & finishing

    When it arrives, we fit it on you and make the final adjustments here in the boutique.

Planning ahead? Pieces are sent for making about two months before your event, so we recommend starting at least three months before your first function.

What do you make?

Bridal lehengas, sherwanis, sarees, gowns and formal wear for men and women, all custom made in our own designs and colours. Almost anything can be customised. We also do alterations.

What are your hours?

Tuesday to Sunday, 11:30am to 8:30pm. We’re closed on Mondays. Our stores are at 99, 101 and 103 South Broadway, Hicksville.

Do you offer video consultations?

Yes. If you can’t visit in person, call 516‑822‑5304 to set up a video consultation, or choose “Video call” when you send an enquiry.

Can you dress the groom and the whole family?

Yes. We make sherwanis and formal wear for grooms, and coordinated outfits for the full wedding party.

Where are your outfits made?

We design with you in Hicksville. Since 2011 we’ve run our own manufacturing, where each piece is handmade by our artisans in India, then fitted and finished in our boutique.

How early should I order?

Custom pieces are sent for making about two months before your event. Start at least three months before your first function, and earlier for a full wedding party.

Do you do alterations?

Yes, we offer alterations at the boutique.
